What A Fantastic Debut! Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Neha Dhupia, Rishi Kapoor Are All Praise For Janhvi's Dhadak
Dhadak is the talk of town today, and it's going to remain the same over the weekend. Newbies Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are basking in the glory of the positive reviews the film is getting.

Yesterday, the makers of the film, kept a couple of screenings for the press and industrywallahs. After watching the film, several B-Townies took to social media to talk about their performances.

Brother Arjun Kapoor's message stood out among the gamut of celebs. He wrote, "It’s out today #Dhadak !!! @ShashankKhaitan has made a heart warming & yet gut wrenching love story....he’s handled the 2 Of them so deftly. Ishan u have nailed the simplicity & energy of a young kid who just sees purity in love Janhvi u left me speechless so bloody proud of u...(sic)."


Kartik Aaryan wrote, "#Dhadak is straight from the heart Janhvi and Ishaan are so endearing and so good  @ShashankKhaitan you have done it again... loved it👌❤  @karanjohar @DharmaMovies 👏🏻👏🏻 (sic)."


Neha Dhupia opined, "Watched #dhadak last night I walked out with so many emotions,to begin with #jhanavi n #Ishaan are absolutely brilliant..they did nt get a single beat wrong,they performed like pros,danced like lightening and looked youthful and gorgeous. I’m blown  away.. @karanjohar only u can (sic)." 


"My blessings to the young,magnificent and daunting couple-Janhavi and Ishaan, for their maiden venture “Dhadak” You are on the threshold of a bright and a long career! May you both sway the audiences off their feet. God Bless! (sic)," Rishi Kapoor’s tweet read.


Varun Dhawan, who has worked before with directed Shashank Khaitan, wrote, "#DHADAK is @ShashankKhaitan finest work. Ishaan and Jaanvi are incredible in the film. It’s a film which will touch everyone’s heart and give an important message. Go catch it in the theatre. Shashank I’m so happy to see your growth but happier cause your the same person (sic)."


SpotboyE Editor, Vickey Lalwani, gave the film 4 stars. In his review, praising Janhvi, he wrote, "Now, for Janhvi's performance. Let's keep it simple: She is good. She has an innocence on her face, which is a bit rare these days. She can emote. She has a typical way of talking, no effort made to imitate anybody. Mind you, it's a 21-year old's first tryst with acting."

Moving over to Ishaan, he wrote, "Shahid Kapoor's brother is superbly intense (as he was in Beyond The Clouds too). So, unlike BTC, he plays a boy-next-door who has to go through a gamut of emotions courtesy the ups and downs in his life."
